AVA EU Streaming Platform + Short Film Library

View Cork International Film Festival Films For Free With AVA EU Streaming Platform (Audio Visual Access)

AVA EU Streaming Platform is an online and onsite video platform where you can watch a selection of short films from previous Cork International Film Festival programmes and films from other European partner film festivals for free.  New titles are added each year and films may be viewed at a dedicated viewing booth in Cork City Library, Bishopstown Library and Midleton Library or ‘on demand’ from home, using your Cork library card. Cork Library card holders can request a special viewing token from libraries@corkcity.ie

Cork International Film Festival has been championing short film for many years and we proudly present a growing catalogue of work by new and established filmmakers.

In March 2019, Cork International Film Festival added 28 European and Irish short films to the library, bringing the total number of films available to you to watch to 83. As part of the 63rd Festival in November 2018, a guest curated strand of 20 short films and 1 feature documentary from La Guarimba International Film Festival in southern Italy, were added. Each year, a special pop up AVA short film library viewing booth is installed in different Festival venues. Watch this space for where our 65th Cork International Film Festival 2020 pop up AVA booth will appear!

AVA EU Streaming Platform and library viewing booths is presented in partnership with AVA, PicturePipe and co-funded by the European Union, Creative Europe Media, Cork City Local Community Development Committee Fund, Creative Ireland Cork and Cork County Council Local Amenity Fund.
