    Call for Applications to Join the Board of Cork International Film Festival

    Cork International Film Festival is Ireland’s first and largest festival, celebrating its 66th edition in November 2021. We welcome applications to join our Board from enthusiastic individuals with passion for the arts and with a keen interest in film as an art form. In particular, we welcome professionals with the following knowledge, skills or experience:

    • Commercial / Business Management
    • Digital (metrics, monitoring, promotion, customer experience)
    • Tourism / Hospitality
    • Advanced not for profit experience
    • Media
    • Sustainability

    We are looking for proactive individuals with a passion for film, and enthusiasm for contributing to Cork’s cultural life, and who support our values and endorse our principles of equality, diversity and inclusion.

    To formally apply for a Board position, please submit an application for the attention of our Chair, Barney Whelan, c/o the Chief Executive: fiona@corkfilmfest.org, with the subject ‘Board Member Application’.

    Your application should outline why you feel you would be a positive addition to the Cork International Film Festival Board. Please provide details of relevant experience, any service as a Board Director, Trustee or any other arts/voluntary/community organisation or any commercial organisation, together with your CV and provide two references.

    Closing Date: 5pm, Friday, 25th June 2021
