- Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the event has been cancelled, rescheduled or significantly changed. Tickets will be offered subject to availability.
- Latecomers will only be admitted at the discretion of event management staff and at an appropriate interval.
- Event management accepts no responsibility for possessions lost or stolen on the premises.
- Event management reserves the right to refuse admission.
- Event management reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
- All events are 18+ unless otherwise stated (e.g. Family screening).
- All online transactions (over €3) incur a €1 booking fee.
- Concession prices apply to senior citizens (65+), under 25s, full-time students* and the unemployed
*where there is no special student rate advertised

ONLINE SCREENINGS
- Online screening availability windows are listed on each screening page. This will also let you know how long you will have to complete watching.
- Our online screening platform requires compatible devices, softwares and internet access. By purchasing a ticket you agree that you are responsible for making all necessary technological arrangements to utilise the platform.
- Our online screening platform geolocks screenings and events to the Republic of Ireland. By purchasing a ticket you agree to not attempt to access the platform outside of this region. We may prevent access to devices using geo-blocking technology such as VPNs as we can not verify your device location.
- Screen recording, screenshotting or reproduction of video or images from our website and online platform is strictly prohibited.

ACCESS
- An accessible brochure is available to download from our website (corkfilmfest.org).
- At each venue there are Festival volunteers to support access needs during screenings. They will be wearing yellow CIFF t-shirts.
- All venues and events are wheelchair accessible unless otherwise stated on our website, if you have any queries or concerns about accessibility of any particular venue or event, please do not hesitate to contact us at access@corkfilmfest.org
- Accompanying carers: a free accompanying carer ticket is available for all events (either book online or contact us at access@corkfilmfest.org or by calling +353 (0)21 427 1711.
- A selection of features will be accessible online and three of those features will also be screened at the ARC Cinema, Cork City, with Closed Caption (CC) subtitles. These films will be tagged as ‘CC’ on corkfilmfest.org.
- Please note that the Family screenings marked as (SF) are films that include additional accessibility for young people with Autism or sensory sensitivities and their families. The following adjustments to reduce stress and sensory input will be in place during the screening:
At the venue:
- CIFF staff trained to be welcoming, inviting and accommodating to families’ needs
- Clear signage and clearly identifiable CIFF volunteers and additional staff
- Early and quiet ticket checks to reduce anxiety for people who have difficulty communicating in busy venues
- Limited crowds and visitors during the day and timing of the performance
- Designated quiet areas within the cinema
In the cinema:
- Lower sound level, especially for startling or loud sounds
- Lights remaining on at a low level in the cinema during the screening
- Guests are free to talk and leave their seats during the film screening
- Space throughout the cinema for standing and movement
- Guests will be provided with resource materials to prepare for their visit upon request

WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?
A.You can stream the online programme on PCs running Windows 7+, and Intel-based Macs running macOS 10.12+.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR WINDOWS COMPUTERS?
Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR MAC COMPUTERS?
macOS 10.12 or later. Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser.
WHY DOES VIDEO PLAYBACK STALL OR NOT PLAY SMOOTHLY?
We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback. If you’re on wifi, please check your router in advance and if possible or necessary, please move the router closer to the classroom.
THE PROGRAMME WON’T PLAY! (GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS)
Please confirm that you are not on a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Eventive’s content protection protocol does not allow VPN access.
Are you logged in with the correct account? Please check your login status at the upper right of the Eventive window. If you are logged in you will see a circle with the initials of the account holder. To switch accounts, click on the circle and select “sign out”, then login (using email address or facebook login) to the preferred account.
If you are not logged in, you’ll see the word “login” at the upper right of the window. Click “login” and enter the desired account credentials.
You may also login directly from the order pop-up if you click “unlock movie” while logged out.
If all you see in the player window is a black screen, please click or tap on the window to activate the player controls.
HOW DO I FIND THE PROGRAMME WHEN I AM LOOKING TO WATCH IT?
If you’ve already unlocked the programme, visit your Content Library and you should see the film there. You will need to log in first. If you’re on another device, you can also check your email inbox for the order confirmation email and click the “watch now” button.
