SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 68th CIFF ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN
Cork International Film Festival’s mission is to present Ireland’s most exciting, diverse, and ambitious annual film festival, connecting and stimulating audiences and artists through a carefully curated selection of the best films, to create a unique shared cultural experience, rooted in Cork, open to the world.
We celebrate and champion excellence in filmmaking alongside emerging talent by welcoming submissions of features and shorts, and all forms of film production – fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and more. We look for interesting new voices and work that pushes boundaries and takes risks. Through our 11 Awards, three of which are Academy Award® qualifying, we also recognise and promote filmmakers’ achievements.
“The Festival plays a vital role in the cultural life of Cork, maximising participation for audiences and artists in a shared creative experience,” Oscar®-winning producer and CIFF Patron Lord David Puttnam.
“A magnificent advertisement for the city and region, and a national treasure,” Irish Examiner (November 2022).
Films can be submitted via FilmFreeway.
Submit before the Early Bird Deadline on Friday, 10th March 2023 to avail of discounted submission fees.
