    European Film Awards 2020


    Cork International Film Festival Live Streamed the second night of the European Film Awards 2020

    Presenting the winners in the categories EURIMAGES Co-Production Award, European Short Film and European University Film Award (EUFA) moderated by Mike Goodridge.

    European Short Film Candidate

    The 33rd European Film Awards took place as a series of virtual events from Tuesday 8 – Saturday 12 December. Cork International Film Festival is the official Irish representative for the European Short Film Candidate and the Festival is delighted to nominate ‘Blue Fear’ for the European Film Awards 2021.

    The CIFF2020 programme featured two further nominees – Viggo Mortensen received a European Actor Nomination for ‘Falling’ and the D’Innocenzo Brothers received a European Screenwriter Nomination for ‘Bad Tales’.

    CIFF 2019 titles ‘The Cave’ and ‘The Painted Bird’ also received nominations for European Documentary and European Film, respectively.
