We are very excited to present a special film and food experience, in association with the luxurious Montenotte Hotel, with a CIFF Culinary Cinema screening of HAUTE CUISINE followed by a specially crafted three-course meal at The Montenotte Hotel, at 5.30pm, Wednesday 13th July.

This exclusive film and dining experience will comprise:

    • 5.30pm: Sip on a cooling Blackwater Distillery Gin & Tonic while exploring the Sculpture exhibition in The Montenotte Hotel’s sunken Victorian gardens with spectacular views of Cork.
    • 6pm: Enjoy classic French comedy-drama Haute Cuisine, directed by Christian Vincent and starring Catherine Frot, based on the true story about a provincial French cook who becomes the private chef to François Mitterrand, screened in the hotel’s luxury in-house cinema, the Cameo Cinema
    • 8pm: Indulge in a delicious dinner from a specially designed menu created by The Montenotte Hotel chefs to match the film, and served with some French wine, in The Gallery Suite.

Tickets €60 / Festival Friends €54 (10% discount). Includes welcome drink, film, dinner and glass of wine.

Capacity very limited, tickets issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: guests will be seated in a banquet-style setting with tables of eight and ten in The Gallery Suite.

    About Haute Cuisine

An obscure cook from a Périgord truffle farm makes waves in the Élysée Palace when she becomes the personal chef to France’s President. Starring multiple award-winning actress Catherine Trot, this French comedy-drama conveys the real-life story of Danièle Mazet-Delpeuch and how she was appointed as the private chef for François Mitterrand.

Keep an eye out for forthcoming announcements later this month on our social media platforms and online.
