    First Cut! Youth Film Festival launches with Digital Partner Cork International Film Festival

    Cork International Film Festival is delighted to be the new Digital Partner and digital festival platform provider with First Cut! Youth Film Festival who have announced their exciting programme of films, talks and events for the 2021 Festival (browse here). This edition, which runs from 17th April to 9th May 2021, is hosted entirely online and all events are free but ticketed.

    Audiences from all over Ireland and from abroad are invited to join First Cut! Youth Film Festival virtually for a completely free programme of events including; Open Call Short Film and Feature Film Screenings, Workshops, Panel Discussions with some of the leading filmmakers in Ireland, a host of Special Guest appearances and more.

    Since 2019, we have partnered with First Cut! and are thrilled to be supporting this annual festival dedicated to showcasing new work by young and emerging filmmakers, for a youth audience. Our growing partnership includes a specially curated programme of short films and the sought-after CIFF Award (Best First Cut! Film), enabling the winner to submit their film and attend CIFF in November 2020. Good luck to all the filmmakers!
