Wherever you are across Cork City and County this Saturday 25th, you can catch three Festival hits near you as part of Super Cine Saturday. The Reel Picture Ballincollig and Blackpool; Cinemax Bantry; Gate Cinemas Midleton and Mallow; and Regal Cinema Youghal will exclusively show Robot Dreams, One Night in Millstreet and Fallen Leaves.

Ella Glendining was born without hip joints and shortened femurs, a very rare set of physical conditions. Having grown up loving her body, but knowing nobody with a similar one, Ella ventures out beyond her East Anglian home to try and find someone that she can physically relate to. A thoroughly engaging film about discrimination, all-pervasive societal ableism and the strength of self-love needed to carve out a space that fits you in this world.

ONLINE PROGRAMME: LUISE
Alsace in the summer of 1918. Luise lives alone on a remote farm near the French border. One morning she discovers Hélène, a French woman, in her house attempting to escape from an injured German soldier, Hermann. His injury forces Hermann to reluctantly stay on the farm, making him a deserter. Gradually Luise and Hélène get closer to each other, something which does not please Hermann.
Beautifully shot, with the wooded landscape in direct contrast to the claustrophobic cabin, Luise is a tense exploration of love, hate and rivalry

The St. Patrick’s weekend of 1995 witnessed an extraordinary thing, a world championship boxing match deep in the countryside of County Cork between Super Middleweight Champion, Chris Eubank, and the hungry challenger from Cabra, Steve Collins. Immerse yourself in this heartwarming, delightful treat from the master of Finnish dark comedies… Aki Kaurismäki’s Fallen Leaves tells a story of Ansa and Holappa, two lonely souls in Helsinki looking for love.
