With a few days left of the 68th CIFF, there is still time to discover new films, such as our Youth Jury nominees The Sweet East (Thu 23rd) and Tiger Stripes (Fri 24th); Green Screen title, Songs of Earth (Thu 23rd); and feature Sisi & I (Fri 24th). There will be even more chances to see great films at our city and county-wide screenings this Saturday too.
This Friday, our renowned Industry Events will continue with Doc Day Live at St. Peter’s Cork, followed by our Documentary Gala: Is There Anybody Out There? with the director Ella Glendining attending and participating in both events. Join us for Doc Day 2023 as we shine a spotlight on visionary non-fiction filmmakers, unravelling the secrets of personal documentary storytelling with the minds behind My Friend Lanre, and dissect the success of Ireland’s top documentary production house, Venom Films. Round off the day with an inspiring keynote conversation with Ella Glendining, the director of the groundbreaking Documentary Gala, Is There Anybody Out There?
