A new pilot initiative for third-level film students interested in developing their skills in film criticism. This one-day training programme explored the different aspects of film journalism and its career paths, with a keynote address from a high-profile film critic as a focal point of the event, as well as practical film writing opportunities at the Festival.
First Cut! Online Youth Filmmaking Workshop

In partnership with First Cut Youth Film Festival, Cork International Film Festival was delighted to present a two-day online filmmaking workshop for young filmmakers aged 14 to 17 years. The workshops were facilitated by Cork Young Filmmakers and led via Zoom by professional filmmaking tutors from Cork Film Centre.
